We’re prayerfully seeking leaders who carry both heart and humility, and who are ready to help build what God is doing at Eastgate.

SUMMARY:

The Kid’s Elementary Pastor leads Eastgate’s Kindergarten through 5th Grade ministry with spiritual authority, joy, and vision. This role is not simply about childcare or curriculum — it is about shepherding young hearts, building disciples, and creating environments where children encounter the presence of Jesus.

Aligned with Eastgate Church’s vision — to pursue the Kingdom of God so that every person would experience Heaven on Earth (Matthew 6:10) — the Elementary Pastor will cultivate a ministry that helps children know God, hear His voice, and begin walking in identity and calling. This role partners with families to guide children into calling and community through Jesus (Matthew 4:19).

This is a contract leadership position averaging 8–12 hours per week, including Sundays (8:30am–12:00pm) and preparation during the week.

Compensation: $200 per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide spiritual leadership and oversight for all K–5th Grade environments

Prepare and deliver engaging, biblically sound, Spirit-led lessons

Create space for prayer, worship, and age-appropriate ministry moments

Shepherd and develop a healthy, unified volunteer team

Recruit, train, and pastor leaders who serve in Elementary ministry

Communicate vision clearly to parents and reinforce discipleship at home

Ensure safety, excellence, and warmth in every classroom

Build simple, scalable systems that support growth

Steward curriculum, supplies, and ministry resources responsibly

Collaborate with church leadership to align Elementary ministry with overall church vision

Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must wholeheartedly agree with and commit to upholding Eastgate Church’s vision, mission, and core values

Clear testimony of salvation and a vibrant, Spirit-filled walk with Jesus

Demonstrated calling to shepherd and disciple children

Experience leading in children’s ministry or comparable leadership environment preferred

Strong communicator who connects with both children and adults

Spiritually mature, emotionally healthy, and team-oriented

Organized and proactive, with the ability to lead volunteers with clarity and encouragement

Calm, faith-filled presence under pressure

WORK SCHEDULE:

Sunday (8:30am–12:00pm)

Preparation, leadership development, and communication during the week (average total commitment 8–10 hours weekly)

Hours may flex depending on ministry needs or special events. Responsibilities may be adjusted to support ministry growth and alignment with church vision.

SUMMARY:

The Kid’s Preschool/Nursery Pastor leads Eastgate’s Birth through Pre-K ministry with a shepherd’s heart and a builder’s mindset. This role lays the earliest spiritual foundations by creating safe, nurturing, and presence-centered environments where children experience the love of Jesus and families feel seen and supported.

In alignment with Eastgate Church’s vision — to pursue the Kingdom of God so that every person would experience Heaven on Earth (Matthew 6:10) — the Preschool/Nursery Pastor cultivates spaces where God’s peace, joy, and care are tangible. This leader partners with parents to guide families into calling and community through Jesus (Matthew 4:19).

This is a contract leadership position averaging 8–12 hours per week, including Sundays (8:30am–12:00pm) and preparation during the week.

Communicate consistently with parents regarding care and spiritual development

Maintain clean, organized, and inviting spaces

Build simple systems that allow the ministry to grow with health and excellence

Collaborate with the Elementary Pastor and church leadership for unified Next Gen vision

Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Clear testimony of salvation and an active, growing relationship with Jesus

Demonstrated love for young children and early spiritual formation

Experience in preschool, nursery, or early childhood leadership preferred

Strong relational and communication skills

Spiritually mature, dependable, and team-oriented

Patient, nurturing, and calm under pressure

Organized and proactive in volunteer leadership and planning

The Youth Director/Pastor provides spiritual leadership and oversight for Eastgate’s middle and high school ministry. This role is responsible for building a Christ-centered, Spirit-led youth culture where students encounter God, develop biblical foundations, and grow in identity, leadership, and calling.

Aligned with Eastgate’s vision to pursue the Kingdom of God so that every person would experience Heaven on Earth (Matthew 6:10), the Youth Director will disciple students while equipping volunteers and partnering with parents to guide the next generation into calling and community through Jesus (Matthew 4:19).

This is a contract leadership position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide spiritual leadership for all middle and high school students

Lead Sunday Night Youth gatherings (6:30pm–8:00pm)

Be present and engaged during Sunday morning services

Prepare and deliver biblically sound, engaging, Spirit-led messages

Create environments that foster worship, prayer, and authentic community

Recruit, train, and pastor a healthy volunteer team

Build consistent communication with parents

Develop simple, scalable systems that allow youth ministry to grow

Plan occasional events or gatherings that strengthen discipleship and connection

Maintain safety standards and healthy leadership boundaries

Collaborate with church leadership to ensure alignment with overall vision

Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Clear testimony of salvation and a vibrant, Spirit-filled relationship with Jesus

Demonstrated calling to disciple and shepherd students

Previous youth ministry leadership experience preferred

Strong communicator with the ability to connect relationally with teenagers

Emotionally healthy, team-oriented, and spiritually mature

Organized and proactive in leadership and planning

Able to build trust with both students and parents

WORK SCHEDULE:

Sunday Morning Service (time aligned with church service schedule)

Sunday Night Youth (6:30pm–8:00pm)

Preparation, volunteer communication, and planning during the week (hours flexible based on ministry needs)

Hours may flex depending on special events, student gatherings, or ministry initiatives. Responsibilities may be adjusted to support ministry growth and alignment with church vision.
